A disadvantage of these known mixing devices is especially that due to the powdery components of the dry mix, especially the cement content, is expected before a corresponding moisture penetration of the dry mix with an environmentally harmful dust. To reduce such dust, the proportion of mixing water is increased, which, however, adversely affects the strength and the setting rate of the lightweight concrete, without being able to prevent the dust load can.
    The invention is therefore based on the object, a device for mixing lightweight concrete in such a way that, despite a reduction in the proportion of mixing water pollution by cement dust with simple structural means can be largely avoided.
    Starting from a device of the type described, the invention solves the problem by the fact that the swivel arm carries a in the pivoted working position of the agitator of an edge portion of the mixing container with the release of a marginal gap enclosed container lid, which forms a distributor for applied to the container lid mixing water.
    As a result of these measures, the mixing water applied to the container lid is distributed over the lid circumference through the annular gap between the container lid and the edge portion of the container wall in the form of a curtain of water into the mixing container, dust discharge from the mixing container through the edge gap between the container lid and the container jacket substantially prevented. In addition, because of the introduction of the mixing water in the area of the container shell, first the dry mixture undergoes moisture penetration in the region of the edge gap and consequently dust formation in the region of the edge gap is avoided, which has an advantageous effect on the desired limitation of the dust development on the container interior. It can therefore be mixed with a favorable for the strength and setting of the lightweight concrete, comparatively low proportion of mixing water lightweight concrete without environmental pollution by cement dust, while maintaining short mixing times.
    The arrangement of the container lid on the arm for the agitator may vary, because it only matters to cover the mixing container in the working position of the agitator with the container lid, leaving a margin gap up. Particularly simple construction conditions, however, arise when the lid is mounted on a support shaft of the agitator. In this case, there is no need for any additional fastening means for the container lid. If the container lid is transparent, the mixing process can be inspected from the outside.
    The mixing water can be poured freely in the required amount on the container lid acting as a distributor. If, however, the swivel arm has a line for the mixing water which opens above the container lid, the distribution of the mixing water over the container lid can be assisted by the predetermined inflow of the mixing water onto the container lid. Another way to improve the distribution of the mixing water over the peripheral edge of the container lid, is to form the container lid as a cover plate with guide ribs for the mixing water, which also brings simple design conditions with it.
    In the drawing, the subject invention is for example shown, namely a device according to the invention for mixing lightweight concrete is shown in a simplified longitudinal section.
    The illustrated apparatus for mixing lightweight concrete has a preferably movable frame 1 with a drivable rotary holder 2 for a mixing container 3. Laterally next to the rotary holder 2, the frame 1 is provided with a post 4, to which a pivot arm 5 is articulated, which advantageously with the assistance of a counterbalance spring 6 by hand to the pivot axis 7 between a drawn in solid lines, pivoted working position and a dash-dotted line indicated , swung open position can be pivoted.
